Xer-hixt Rudnoplu was founded durring the early 12th century in summer of the year 1149, by Uirneth vyim Mɑnkʤine. The establishment of Xer-hixt Rudnoplu suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Xer-hixt Rudnoplu which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.
Xer-hixt Rudnoplu was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Xer-hixt Rudnoplu is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Xer-hixt Rudnoplu is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of narrow flagstone streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The robustly designed timber walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Xer-hixt Rudnoplu long.

Cultural Notes
Xer-hixt Rudnoplu's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Xer-hixt Rudnoplu was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Xer-hixt Rudnoplu. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Xer-hixt Rudnoplu lost 217 people, 146 livestock, and 68 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 67, when members of Xer-hixt Rudnoplu's militia enacted an operation to secure a particular research site to utilize it for a specific task. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Xer-hixt Rudnoplu's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Xer-hixt Rudnoplu's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
